Isle of Man Unites to Prepare for the upcoming MONEYVAL evaluation

Regulators, compliance professionals, and industry leaders come together to strengthen AML/CFT practices ahead of the 2026 evaluation in the Isle of Man.  

On May 1st, Verify by Tiller hosted a community-driven event in the Isle of Man focused on preparing regulated businesses for the upcoming MONEYVAL mutual evaluation. Drawing on insights from the Isle of Man FSA, GSC, DQ Advocates, and Triskele Solutions, the session highlighted the importance of collaboration, regulatory alignment, and the transformative power of technology in AML/CFT compliance. 

The panel discussion featured insights from key stakeholders, including the Financial Services Authority, the Gambling Supervision Commission, and industry experts. Notably, representatives from Jersey shared their experiences following a recent successful evaluation, offering valuable lessons for Isle of Man entities. 

Moderated by Sinead O’Connor of DQ Advocates, the panel included David Baker (Isle of Man FSA), Shannon Reid (Gambling Supervision Commission), and Scott Le Flour (Triskele Solutions, Jersey). Discussions centered on evaluation expectations, aligning AML frameworks with MONEYVAL standards, and the importance of proactive preparation. 

Jonathan Wauton, CEO of Tiller Technologies, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting the Isle of Man's compliance efforts:
